Bobby Mitchell Carter, 64, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 29, 2011, at 1pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Rev. James Starks officiating. Burial in the Waterview Cemetery.Visitation will be 5pm-9pmCT, Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville, KY.


Bobby Mitchell Carter, Cumberland Co., KY (1947-2010)

Bobby Carter was born in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY, on Tuesday, February 26, 1947. He was the son of late Juanita Leo Coats Carter, and the late Joe Dillion Carter. He died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 64 years, 3 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his Wife of 39 years, Kathryn Carter, Burkesville, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Reico Carter and Wife Kimberly of Atlanta, GA

  • One daughter: Tonya Carter Scott of Burkesville, KY

  • One brother: Steve Carter of Burkesville, KY

  • One sister: Bonnie Carter Martin of Horse Cave, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Inc., Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
