Seth Allen Akin, formerly of Adair Co., Ky (1984-2011) He was a native of Taylor Co., KY, a member of a large, respected South Central Kentucky family. He served his country in Iraq for 15 months. He was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Amvets and the DAV. Funeral service: Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Allen Fisher officiating. Burial in Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkeville RD, Columbia, KY, with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097. Visitation after 5pm, Friday, May 27, 2011, at the funeral home. Seth Allen Akin, formerly of Adair Co., Ky (1984-2011) He was born September 4, 1984 in Taylor County, KY. He died May 25, 2011, at his home in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY at the age of 26 years, 8 months, and 21 days. Seth served his country in Iraq in the US Army for 15 months.
