Adair County High School'sGraduating Class of Two Thousand Eleven

The Three Big Graduation Events: all in Adair County High School's John Burr Memorial Gymnasium, 526 Indian DR, Columbia, KY:
  • Senior Awards night: Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 7pmCT
  • COMMENCEMENT: Friday, May 27, 2011, at 7pmCT
  • Project graduation: Will immediately follow graduation, beginning at approximately 10pmCT, May 27, 2011
One hundred eighty-eight seniors will receive high school diplomas Friday night, May 27, 2011, at 7pmCT, at John Burr Memorial Gymnasium, 526 Indian DR, Columbia, KY.The valedictorian will be Aaron Travis Bradshaw, GPA: 4.266 on a weighted 4.0 scale, parents Nathan and Lynn Bradshaw.

The salutatorian will be Ryan Curtis Montgomery, GPA: 4.222 on a weighted 4.0 scale, parents Steve Montgomery and Jackie Montgomery.The top 10% of the class, in academics are:
Candace Blackwelder, Aaron Bradshaw, Erin Burris, Tanner Caldwell, Seth Dunbar, Corinna Hughes, Molly Keen, Brittany Kenyon, Jacob Leibeck, McKenzie Martin, Luke Maupin, Ryan Montgomery, Charlotte Murrell, Jonathan Adam Poff, Landon Neal Rayburn, Whitney Redmon, Cassie Rogers, Sabrina Stargel, and Julie Wilson.
Thirty students will be wearing gold cords indicating they have a GPA greater than 3.75 on a weighted 4.0 scale.



Sixty three students will be wearing red, white, and blue cords, indicating they have a GPA of between 3.0 and 3.74 on a weighted 4.0 scale.

The Adair County High School Band, under the direction of Mr. Tom Case, will perform.

The class motto is a quote from Harriet Tubman: "Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."

Class colors: Royal Blue and White
