Russell Stotts, Adair Co. native (1938-2011)

He was a member of a large, highly respected South Adair Co., KY, family, a member of the Harvest Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Elizabethtown American Legion.

Russell Stotts age 72 years of Okolona, KY formerly of Breeding, KY passed awaySunday, May 22, 2011 at his home after an illness.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 12pm noon ET/11amCT atSchoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, KY. Interment in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation from 12pm noonET until 8pmCT, Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the funeral home.



Russell Stotts, Adair Co. native (1938-2011)

He was born on September 4, 1938.He was the son of the late Ervin and Clarice Gadberry Stotts of Adair County. He died May 22, 2011, at his home at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his wife. Frances Ann Thomason Stotts, of Okolona, KY and the following:
  • Two daughters: Shirley "Sissy" Hicks and husband Kenneth andSheila Moore and husband Garry

  • One sister: Carolyn Denny of Breeding, KY

  • Two brothers: Theron Stotts of Breeding, KY and Glenn Stotts of TN

  • 5Five grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • A host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends
He was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Elizabethtown American Legion.
