Lady Indians softball assured 5th Region berth with district win Special to ColumbiaMagazine.com The Adair County Lady Indians Softball team defeated Campbellsville on Monday night, May 23, 2011, 4-1 in the opening round of the 20th District tournament being played at Marion County High School. The Lady Indians will play in the championship game of the District and are guaranteed to play in the 5th Region tournament next week. The championship game was scheduled for 5pm CT, Tuesday, May 24, 2011, against either Marion Co. or Taylor Co. The game between Marion Co. & Taylor Co. was suspended in the bottom of the 7th inning because of bad weather.
