Mark Hale: A great Relay for Life and some special people to thank Michele was able to participate and make several laps around the track. Thanks, big time, to Lindsey Wilson College for letting Relay for Life use impressive new stadium By Mark Hale I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that put on the Relay for Life event this year. Julie Brockman did a great job organizing the event and so many others that participated in a big way. I know Sue Stivers and Charles Barnes made sure everybody got registered. There were several big sponsors too. I especially want to thank Lindsey Wilson College for letting us use the most impressive new stadium. It really made an excellent place to have this event. We were very happy that Michele was able to be there and participate. She made several trips around the track and so many people we didn't even know stopped her to say hello and encourage her as she goes on her new journey. We consider all of them new friends. So many folks said they have been following her story on CM for that I thank you, Ed.Michele is doing very well and will be starting chemotherapy and maybe a little radiation in the days to come. Keep the prayers coming. Thanks to everyone. Mark This story was posted on 2011-05-22 06:55:17
