Edmonton, KY, native Laura Emberton Owens to be at The Center

Laura Emberton Owens, a native of Edmonton, KY, and a well known published author, will conduct a free leadership seminar on Thursday, June 23, from 10am-3pmET/9am-2pmCT, at The Center for Rural Development, 2292 South U.S. 27, Somerset, KY. Lunch will be provided.

Emberton is the author of "Becoming the Red Sock in the Laundry Basket--Simple Strategies to Everyday Leadership." Her first book was "Thank You for Blue Horses - Lessons I Have Learned from My Children."

The event is presented by The Center and funded through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC).To register for the seminar, contact Patti Simpson at The Center at 606-677-6110 or via email at psimpson@centertech.com. Pre-registration is required, and registrations must be received by June 9. Space is limited, so register early to reserve your spot. -Sharon Dodson
