Columbia Post office still accepting Stamp Out Hunger donations Some were unable to leave food out Saturday, May 14, 2011, because of the bad weather. Donations are still being accepted this week at the Columbia, KY, Post Office, 800 Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY. Over 3,000 lbs. collected, but more is needed. We appreciate all the contributions made and all the food collected will go to help those in need here in Adair County. Preliminary results so far is over 3000 lbs and we are expecting more this week from residents who were not able to place food out because of the weather. Anyone that would still like to make a contribution can drop the food off at the Columbia Post Office, 800 Burkesville St, anytime this week and we will make sure it is delivered to the Adair County Food Pantry.
