Minnie Lou Maupin Wilburn, 87, of Burkesville, KY,(a resident of Cumberland Valley Manor) passed away Friday, May 6, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 1pmCT at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street,Burkesville, KY, Burial in the Grundy Chapel C.M.E./Burkesville Cemetery.Visitation will be from 5pm-9pmCT on Friday, May 13, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, in Burkesville.

She was born in Burkesville, KY on November 22, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Beaulah Alexander Maupin, and the late William Maupin. She died Friday, May 6, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY at the age of 87 years, 5 months, and 14 days.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Wilburn, one Daughter, Linda Rush; 3 Brothers, Alexander Murray; Charles Maupin; Willie Maupin; 1 Sister, Gertrude Herd.Survivors Include the following:
  • Two sons: Charlie Ray Wilburn and wife Nora of Glasgow, KY; Jeff Wilburn and wife Akra of Burkesville, KY

  • Two daughters: Hilda Norris and Husband Mike of Burkesville, KY; Vivian Miller andhusband Larry of Louisville, KY

  • Four sisters: Dora Murray of Burkesville, KY; Dorothy Farris of Burkesville, KY; Mae Walker of Burkesville, KY; Virginia Turner of Burkesville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Eight great grandchildre

  • One great great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
