Mrs. Pauline Blakeman Calhoun, 84, of Greensburg, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her home in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Blakeman Calhoun were conducted at 1pmCT., Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY. Burial is in in the Milltown Cemetery, Milltown Church RD, in Adair County. Bro. Dan Perkins officiated.


Pallbearers: Joe Milby, Lewis Bloyd, Tony Morgan, Donald Powell, Billy Blakeman, and Russ Milby.

Pauline Blakeman Calhoun, Adair Co., KY native (1926-2011)

Mrs. Pauline Blakeman Calhoun was the daughter of the late Herbert Blakeman and Lena Pearl Bagby Blakeman. She was born Thursday, October 28, 1926 in Adair Co., KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her home in Greensburg, Green Co., KY. She was 84 years, six months and five days of age.

Survivors include the following:
  • A son: James Blakeman of Greensburg, KY

  • A daughter and son-in-law: Ernestine and Ray Milby of Greensburg, KY

  • A grandson: Keith Parson of Lexington, KY

  • Two sisters: Lorene Blakeman and Irene Bishop both of Greensburg, KY

  • A brother William Blakeman of Dawson Springs, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Calhoun was also preceded in death by three sisters, Magdalene Powell, Lena Blakeman and Mary Pearl Coffey.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
