Food Pantry big winner in LWC spring football scrimmage

More than 900 fans watched Lindsey Wilson College's spring football scrimmage, held Saturday night, April 30, 2011, at Blue Raider Stadium.

But the big winner was the Columbia-Adair County Food Pantry. Because admission to the scrimmage was a can or box of non-perishable food, more than 900 non-perishable food items were collected at the game.

The Blue Raiders open the 2011 season at 7pmCT on, Saturday, September 3 against Cumberland University of Lebanon, TN, at Blue Raider Stadium, 820 Hanley LN, Columbia, KY.
