She was a member of a large, respected Adair County family. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ

Mina Hadley, age 88 years, of County Line RD, Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 5:32amCT at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY after an illness.

Graveside services will be Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 1pmCT at the Helm Cemetery, 52 Helm Cemetery RD, Glensfork, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Helm Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie Raymond and Dellie Mae Grider Thomas of Adair County, KY.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Stewart in 2000 and by several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Hadley is survived by her husband, Snow Hadley of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Stephen Hadley of Columbia, KY, and Sheldon Hadley of Jamestown, KY

  • One daughter: Shirley Burton of Russell Springs, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Eighteen great grandchildren

  • Seven step great grandchildren
Mrs. Hadley was a housewife and a member of the Church of ChristStotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements
