LWC honors 10 Students at Leadership Banquet

COLUMBIA, KY - Ten Lindsey Wilson College students were honored Tuesday night, April 25, for their leadership skills and contributions to the LWC community.



The 10 students were recognized at the third-annual L3 Student Leadership Banquet, held in the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. The 10 students were presented a book about leadership, which included an inscription from LWC President William T. Luckey Jr.

Three students received top honors for outstanding community and campus leadership and service contributions.

The keynote speaker was Bill Glass, former All-Pro football player and founder of Champions for Life ministry.

L3 stands for live, learn and lead. The program is administered by the college's student services department.

Bill Glass speaks to athletes

Former National League Football player Bill Glass speaks to members of the Lindsey Wilson College football team following Tuesday's practice at Blue Raider Stadium. Glass was a four-time All-Pro player and a starting offensive lineman for the 1964 NFL champion Cleveland Browns. An All-American at Baylor University, Glass is the founder of Bill Glass Champions for Life ministry.
