LWC Women's Golf wins Georgetown Spring Invitational News from Lindsey Wilson College Sports Information GEORGETOWN, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team captured its fourth tournament title of the season today at the Georgetown College Spring Invitational at Cherry Blossom Golf Club, 150 Clubhouse DR, Georgetown, KY. Lindsey Wilson backed up its Monday round of 327 with a 325 today to shoot a 652 over the two-day event. The Blue Raiders beat Indiana University Tech - who shot 701 (347-354) - by 49 strokes. Host Georgetown finished in third with a 770 (383-387). Lindsey Wilson senior Chelsey Key won her fourth career tournament after erasing a four-shot deficit heading into today's final round. Key fired the tournament's low round today with a four-over par 76 to finish in a tie for first with a two-day total of 158 (82-76). Junior Paola Gonzalez shot an 80 today to finish in a tie with Key at 158 (78-80). Key earned medalist honors with her playoff win on the third extra hole. She recorded pars on all three playoff holes. Gonzalez hit into the water on the final hole of the tournament to finish second. Freshman Kaitlin Allan finished tied for third after a 165 (81-84) and sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon finished fifth with a 167 (81-86) playing as an individual for the Blue Raiders. Key, Gonzalez, Allan and MacKinnon all earned all-tournament honors. Sophomore Kelsey Joslyn's 172 (86-86) and freshman Candace Stacy's 173 (88-85) tied for seventh and eighth respectively. Lindsey Wilson Women's Golf competes on April 25-26, 2011 in the Mid-South Conference Championships at Maywood Country Club, 130 Maywood AV, Bardstown, KY.
