Governor will be in Adair Co., KY April 21, 2011 for reception Adair County Democrats are holding a reception in support of Governor Steve Beshear and Mayor Jerry Abramson on Thursday, April 21, 2011, from 7pm-8pmCT, at the VFW Post, 411 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY. Food and beverages will be served, according to Vickie Pike, Adair County Democratic Women's Club publicist and party treasurer. Event open to the supporters, mostly Ms. Pike said the reception is primarily a fundraiser. It is open to Beshear/Abramson supporters, she said, but added that those who are employees of Kentucky State Government or limited or prohibited from contributing under Kentucky election laws, or whose presence might be inappropriate, are excluded from the invitation.
