Adair Co., KY kindergarten registration next two Fridays Adair County Schools looking forward meeting future kindergarten students and their families. Registrations at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary, Friday, April 15 and 22, 2011 by Alan Reed News from Adair County School District The Adair County School District will hold registration for all new Adair County kindergarten students between 8am-2pmCT at Col. William Casey Elementary School, 222 Gen. John Adair DR, Columbia, KY on Friday, April 15, 2011 and Friday April 22, 2011. Getting students enrolled in kindergarten can be a challenge. The Adair County School District wants to make the process as painless as possible. While students will not have to be present, parents need to bring the child's state birth certificate, immunization certificates from either physician or health department and a copy of the child's social security card. State law also requires a physical exam, along with vision and dental examinations. Exams must be on Kentucky Department of Education forms. To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be five years old on or before October 1, 2011. School assignments and parent notifications will be made after the registration process is complete. For detailed information contact Adair County Schools at 384- 2476 or look in the "Student Services" section located at the top of the new website at (or click to adair.kyschools.us) This story was posted on 2011-04-14 11:48:23
