Parks & Rec Board schedules two Special Called Meetings

  1. April 21, 2011:
    There will be a special called meeting of the Columbia-Adair Co Parks and Recreations Board to be held Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 5pmCT, at the Adair 911 Building, 107 N. High Street, Columbia, KY. The topic of the meeting will be the annual budget of the proposed recreation center.

  2. April 25, 2011:
    There will be a special called meeting of the Columbia-Adair Co Parks and Recreations Board to be held Monday, April 25, 2011, at 5pmCT, at the Adair 911 Building, 107 N. High Street, Columbia, KY. The topic of the meeting will be the annual budget of the proposed recreation center.

About the Columbia/Adair County Parks and Recreation Board: The board is made up of 9 members, 4 appointed and approved by the City of Columbia, 4 appointed and approved by the Adair Fiscal Court, and 1 recommended by the Board itself and jointly approved by the City and County. The present board members are Chairman Charles Grimsley, Secretary Donna Shirley, Treasurer Bruce White, and Craig Dean, Bobby Bowe, Tommy Steele, Rebecca Schmidt, Billy Dean Coffey, and Greg Thomas. The board meets each second Monday evening, at 5pmCT, in the Adair 911 Center, 107 N. High Street, Columbia, KY
