JOPPA, KY: What are big, low-flying helicopters doing?

Inquiring minds want to know where these Big Boys are coming from. They vibrate the ground on low flying passes.

By Maury Lewis
CM Greater Joppa, KY, area correspondent

(2011-03-28) - I live off of KY 92, six-tenths of a mile from KY 55 south.

Last week we had a large helicopter fly over our place. It looked like an Army type green one with props on both ends, It seemed to be flying rather low. It vibrated the ground where I was standing.

Tonight, Monday, March 28, 2011, a little after 9pmCT, something flew over our place again and it sounded like the same kind of machine, but I was in the house this time on the computer.

It was not a regular Helo which flies around here for medical purposes.

The first one was flying from the east and headed northeast after flying over us. The one tonight came from the east but I don't know which way it went.

Inquiring minds want to know where these big boys are coming from? And where are they going? -Maury Lewis
