Mary Nell Kinser, 94, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:15amET, Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Wayne Brooks and Rev. Ron Ferree.Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Monday, March 28, 2011, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Neil Bright, Mark Dicken, Chris Kinser, Kent Parker, Evan Riggs, Nathan Riggs.

Mary Nell Kinser, Taylor Co., KY (1917-2011)

Mary Nell Kinser was the daughter of the late Henry Hickman Cannon and Sylvia B. Conklin Cannon. She was born in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH, Friday, March 25, 1917. She died Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 94 years, and 1 day.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was a former employee of the Telephone Company, Monson's Department Store, and Parks Belk.

She united in marriage to Herman Kinser October 6, 1939. He preceded her in death September 13, 1983.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and one son: Phylis Richardson and husband, Charles and Walter Lee Kinser and wife, Carolyn of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Tammy Stamp and husband, Jerry, Amy Parker and husband, Kent, Chris Kinser and wife, Melissa, Lisa Riggs and husband, Kenny, and Cheryl Dicken and husband, Mark

  • Twelve great grandchildren

  • One great greatgrandchild

  • several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Earl B. Cannon.Family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at the funeral home.
