James Paul Osborne, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2011)

James Paul Osborne, age 86, of Speck Ridge Road, Elkhorn died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at his residence after an illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2pmET/1pmCT, Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home, 503 E. Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Harden Cemetery.



James Paul Osborne, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2011)

He was the son of the late David and Victoria Osborne. He was born March 29, 1924, and died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Elkhorn, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 86 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Wildy Osborne, Noah Osborne, Chester Osborne, Cecilia Williams and Faye Jones.

He is survived by the following:
  • His wife, Ruth Osborne, of Elkhorn, KY

  • Three sons and daughters in law: Rodger and Judy Osborne of FL; Gary and Shirlene Osborne of Campbellsville, KY; Lynn and Pam Osborne of Bowling Green, KY

  • One daughter and son-in law, Pat and Darrell Dudgeon of Shelbyville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Darin Osborne Amanda South, Emily Lackey, Natalie Brockman, Abigail Dengel, Brent Dudgeon and Jackie Osborne

  • Six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends
Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home, 503 Main ST, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
