Annie Mae Ballard Smith, age 91, of Louisville, KY, formerly of the Marrowbone Community in Cumberland Co., KY, passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services for Annie Mae Ballard Smith will be held on Saturday March 26, 2011 at 11amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main ST, Burkesville, Ky. Burial will be in the Marrowbone Cemetery. Visitation after 4pmCT, Friday, March 25, until time of funeral service on Saturday.



Survivors include the following:
  • Her son and daughter in law: Jerry and Debbie Smith of Louisville, KY

  • Her brother: Daniel Ballard of Greenwood, IN

  • Her sister: Lillian Cooksey of Burkesville, KY

  • Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins
