Mary Etha Wheat age 73 years of Louisville, Ky. formerly of Adair County, Ky.Passed away Friday morning, March 25, 2011, at Norton Hospice Unit in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service is Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Melvin Grant, the officiating clergy. Interment in Regan Cemetery at Glensfork, KY. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements. Visitation after 9amCT, Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the funeral home.

She was born on Saturday June 19, 1937 in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Hallie Melson Wheat. She died Friday, March 25, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 9 months, and 6 days.

Survived by the following:
  • A sister-in-law: Sarah Wheat Strange of Louisville, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Preceded in death by a brother Russell Wheat on May 19, 2001She was of the Methodist faith and a Secretary
