Mr. Nathan Wade Montgomery, 29, of Summersville, KY, departed this life on Monday, March 21, 2011due to an accident.

The funeral services for Mr. Nathan Wade Montgomery will be conducted at 10amCT, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, with burial to follow in the Montgomery Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation is requested from 4pm-9pmCT, Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT Thursday until time of the funeral service.

Nathan Wade Montgomery, Summersville, KY (1982-2011)

Mr. Nathan Wade Montgomery was the son of Teddy N. Montgomery and the late Donna Benningfield Young, was born on Wednesday, March 10, 1982, in Green Co., KY and departed this life on Monday, March 21, 2011due to an accident. He was 29 years and 11 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Hart County, Kentucky. He was a veteran having retired from the United States Air Force and he enjoyed martial arts.

Other survivors the following include the following:
  • His son: Kyler Austin Lee Montgomery of Bowling Green, KY
  • His father's companion: Reba Dobson of Greensburg, KY

  • Grandmother: Dorothy Montgomery of Greensburg, KY

  • Great-grandmother: Rachel Hazel of Greensburg, KY

  • A half-sister: Erica Benningfield Norman and her husband Jeff of Greensburg, KY, and their family

  • A special aunt and uncle: Vicki and Jeff McIntosh of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Houston Montgomery.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, in charge of arrangements.
