LWC School of Professional Counseling hosts meeting of couselors

Lindsey Wilson College hosted a meeting on Monday, March 21, 2011, for 22 budding counseling professionals from the region.

Daniel and Jennifer Williamson, faculty members in the LWC School of Professional Counseling, coordinated the session for counselors who are working toward becoming licensed professional clinical counselors. The daylong session also included a meeting via Skype with Tim Robertson, chair of the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. Four of the participants in Monday's meeting were members of the LWC School of Professional Counseling, and the rest were mental-health professionals from the region.

Those in attendance were Harriet Simms-Boone of Springfield, KY; Joseph Correll of Somerset, KY; Jessica Dorcas of Louisville, KY; Paula Durdach of Shepherdsville, KY; Michelle Durkalski of Smiths Grove, KY; Suzy Grey of Columbia; Jamie Hughes of Scottsville, KY; Charles McAnelly of Liberty, KY; Dawn Cox-Neal of Campbellsville, KY; Joshua Newman of Columbia; Peggy Nunn of Glasgow, KY; Mary Oakley of Somerset, KY; Susan Patterson of Lebanon, KY; Kathleen Peters of Owensboro, KY; Stephen (Rod) Pyland of Somerset, KY; Gretchen Rinehart of Louisville, KY; Willard Sapp of Georgetown, KY; Candice Sawyer of Glasgow, KY; James Toney of Glasgow, KY; Gregory Turner of Tompkinsville, KY; Shelia Wallen of Dana, KY; Amanda West of Scottsville, KY; LWC Associate Professor of Counseling Daniel Williamson; and LWC Associate Professor of Counseling Jennifer Williamson.
