She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family and a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. Interment will be in her native Ohio Co., KY

Marian Grace Walker Woosley, 90, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 8:20amET, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon ET/11amCT, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Skip Alexander. Burial will be in the Fordsville Cemetery, Fordsville, KY. Visitation will be from 10am-12 noon ET/9am-11amCT, at the Funeral Home.


Marian Grace Walker Woosley, Taylor Co., KY (1920-2011)

Marian Grace Walker Woosley was the daughter of the late Dennis Walker and Kathleen Young Walker. She was born in Fordsville, Ohio Co., KY, June 18, 1920. She died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 25 days.

She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.

She united in marriage to Edwin Spencer Woosley, who preceded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Joseph Edwin Woosley and wife, Cynthia Lynn of Campbellsville, KY; and George Walker Woosley and wife, Cindy Miracle of Loganville, GA

  • Four grandchildren: Wendy Herper and husband, Devin of Evansvillle, IN; Amanda Reeves and husband, Mike of Union, KY; Nicholas Woosley of Loganville, GA; and Jon-Michael Cain of Lexington, KY

  • Five great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Alison and Landon Herper of Evansville, IN; and Madeline and Owen Reeves of Union, KY

  • One brother: Charles H. Walker and wife, Lois of Tallahassee, FL

  • A host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Robert D. Walker.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
