Barbara Denton-Erlenbush, 47, of Nineveh, IN died at 8:05pmET, Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Franklin United Methodist Community, in Franklin, IN.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pmET/12 noon CT, Friday, March 18, 2011, at Whosoever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower DR, Edinburgh, IN, with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be from 4pm-8pmET/3pm-7pmCT Thursday, March 17, 2011, and from 11amET/10amCT until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, located between S. Eisenhower DR and US 31 in Edinburgh.

Born in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN, Tuesday, November 26, 1963, Barbara was the daughter of Arnold and Elizabeth Mann Denton. She died Sunday, March 13, 2011, in Franklin, Johnson Co., IN, at the age of 47 years, 3 months, and 15 days.A member of Whosoever Will Community Church in Edinburgh, she was a former quality control technician at United Technologies in Edinburgh and enjoyed reading, listening to music and watching movies.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Erlenbush, and the following:
  • A daughter: Elizabeth (Jacob) Martinie of Franklin, IN

  • A son: Joseph Denton of Nineveh, IN

  • Brothers: Randy (Loretta) Denton and Daniel Denton, both of Edinburgh, IN; and Dennis (Mary) Denton of Franklin, IN

  • Sisters: Darlene (Ray) Bryant and Donna (Greg) Halcomb, both of Edinburgh, IN; and Lois (Harold) Hall and Jenny (Randy) Betts, both of Nineveh, IN

  • And a grandson: Damien Martinie
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles, Jerry and Steven Denton; and a sister, Linda Bryant.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Vista Care Hospice or Franklin United Methodist Community.

Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, IN.
