News from the Adair Co. High School Reunion 1981-1987

One of the largest reunions in Adair County High School history is being planned for Friday Night, June 3, 2011, and Saturday, June 4, 2011, for classes graduating in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1987. The reunion could well have a potential of over 1,000, Tammy Shelton said. "Our class, 1986, alone had over 200," she said. "And we're including seven classes."

Reunion headquarters will be at Lure Lodge at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park5465 State Park Road, Jamestown, KY 42629-7801, Jamestown, KY. Reservations for the event are being taken now. There is printable online registration form at REGISTRATION FORM/ Reunion ADAIR CO. HIGH SCHOOL Classes 1981-1987 . Reunion goers are urged to print the form and mail it Marian Cole Grant or Tammy Shelton. The addresses are on the form.A complete Class Reunion Agenda Follows:



CLASS REUNION AGENDA

Friday Night - June 3, 2011
  • 7pm-9pmCT: Meet and Greet. Activities Center at Lure Lodge(Finger foods will be available including sandwiches, chips, fruit, cheese, and beverages)

  • 9pm-12pm: Dancing with DJ music from late 70s through late 80s. Activities Center
Saturday - June 4, 2011
  • Possible activities available on your own include boating, horseback riding, hiking, swimming, horseshoes, disc golf, tennis, and putt putt golf.

  • 12pm-5pmCT: Golf Scramble will be from at Lakewood Country Club. Cost will be $25 per person for greens fee and cart rental.

  • 5pm-7pmCT: Dinner Buffet will be available on your own from 5-7 pm.Social Time, Dancing, and DJ music from 7 P.M-12A.M. in the Activities Center. (Finger foods will be available again during this time)
Sunday, June 5, 2011
  • 8am-1pmCT: The Activities Center will be available for any groups wanting to get together one last time. Also, the Picnic Shelter is available to any classes that want to get together sometime during the weekend just with their class at no extra charge. If you want to schedule this be sure to contact Eric Goodin at the Park so he can put you down for that time.The buffet times at the lodge are Breakfast 7-10, Lunch 11-3, and Dinner 5-7 each day.
