ACHS juniors will get special incentives to take ACT By Ann Young, ACHS Counselor Lindsey Wilson College has partnered with Adair County High School to offer rewards to juniors taking the ACT All juniors in the state of Kentucky will be taking the ACT, a test for college readiness and achievement, on Tuesday, March 15. LWC has donated a day of fun in their Holloway Health and Wellness Center on Thursday, March 17. Juniors must be in attendance on the day of the ACT and put forth good faith effort in order to be eligible to go. Parents are encouraged to make sure their child attends on March 15, 2011, and is prepared for the test. While at the HWC juniors will be able to play basketball, water volleyball, badmitton and walleyball, as well as use the pool, hot tub, cardio and weight equipment.
