She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Irene Shearer, 95, Brown RD, Jamestown, KY, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 9, 201, at 1pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Shane Frederick, Bro. bobby Sexton, and Bro. Robert Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Dixon Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Irene Shearer, Russell County (1915-2011) Irene Shearer was the daughter of the late Ada Gearl Antle Lawless and Liston Lawless. She was born Saturday, November 20, 1915, in Russell County, KY and died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 95 years, 3 months, and 13 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by the following:
