Ronald A. Smith of Campbellsville, KY, died at 8:20pmET, Friday, March 4, 2011, in Campbellsville, KY. He was 61.

Funeral services are at 3pmET/2pmCT, Monday, March 7, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. A. Landon Hadley. Burial will be in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-3pmET/10am-2pmCT.



Pallbearers: Bobby McMahan, Barry Smith, Gerald Smith, TIm Smith, Thomas Sprowles, and James (Red) White.Honorary pallbearers: Donnie McMahan, Jerry McMahan, and David Ratcliff.

Ronald A. Smith was the son of the late Roger A. Smith and Lena Opal Hord Smith. He was born in Taylor Co. KY, October 26, 1949. He died in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY on Friday, March 4, 2011, at the age of 61 years, 4 months, and 6 days.

He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Melissa Dawn Smith of Campbellsville, KY

  • One granddaughter: Candace Lauren Gribbins of Wiliamstown, WV

  • One brother and his wife, Terry L. and Connie Smith of Parkersburg, WV

  • Several other relatives and many friends
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Opal Jean Leftwich, April 21, 1999.

The Parrott &Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY in charge of arrangements.
