Wanda Lou Whitlow, 61, Greensburg, KY, departed this life Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral service will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY by Rev. Landon Hadley and Rev. Darrell Hensley. Interment will be in the New Salem Cemetery, Green Co., KY. Visitation will be 11am-2pm Sunday, at the funeral home.


Pallbearers: Bill Whitlow, Ronald Whitlow, Hank Rapier, Michael Holland, Shawn Coffey, and Adrian Cobb.

Wanda Lou Whitlow, Green Co., KY (1949-2011)

Wanda Lou Whitlow was born Wednesday, November 23, 1949 in Green Co. KY. She was the daughter of the late John Pettit and Ella Wooldridge Pettit. She died in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY having attained the age of 61 years, 3 months and 8 days.Mrs. Whitlow had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lonzo Whitlow and one brother J.W. "Buck" Pettit.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son: John Whitlow, Greensburg, KY

  • One daughter: Brenda Ruiz of Greensburg, KY

  • Five sisters; Betty Moran of Stevensburg, KY., Alice Bryant, Brenda Sue Helm, Willie Pettit and Freda Kingrey all of Greensburg, KY

  • And six grandchildren: Kali Whitlow, Adrian Cobb, Bianca Trejo, Adrianna Ruiz, Javier Ruiz, and Josefina Ruiz.
The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
