Estil Cochran, 73, of Campbellsville, KY died Thursday February 24, 2011 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Jeff Edwards. Burial will be in Tapscott Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, at the funeral home.

Estil Cochran, Campbellsville, KY (1937-2011)

Born in Casey County on Tuesday, December 14, 1937, he was the son of the late Sammy and Nettie Hughes Cochran. He died Thursday February 24, 2011, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 10 days.

He was a carpenter, dry wall hanger and member of the Pine Grove Community Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ila Buck Cochran of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Debbie Cochran

  • Two grandchildren: Mellisa Gibbs and Nikkie Doll

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers: Cecil and Gary Cochran of Indiana and James Cochran of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four sisters: Marie Foster and Barbara Roundtree both of Crittenden, KY, Joan Wethington of Campbellsville, KY; and Lorene Webb of Indiana
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Wesley Cochran, Jimmy Cochran and T. C. Cochran and sister, Deloris Angel.
