Larry G. Vest died Monday February 21, 2011 at his home on Willow Springs RD in Casey Co., KY. He was 68.

Funeral services is 2pmET/1pmCT, Friday, February 25, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Gerald Burton. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Funeral Squad. Visitation will be Thursday 6-9pmEt/5-8CT, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Gary Richardson, Larry Porter, Tommy Vest, Derek Vest, Dustun Vest and James Coffman.

Honorary pallbearers: His breakfast friends at McDonald's and the Middleburg High School Class of 1960.

Larry G. Vest, Casey Co., KY (1942-2011)

Born in Casey County on Wednesday, September 23, 1942, he was the son of the late Cleo"Jackie" and Nettie Carmicle Vest. He died Monday, February 21, 2011, in Casey Co., KY, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 29 days.

He is a retired truck driver and farmer, member of the Church of Christ and the National Guard.Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Rebecca Thomas Vest of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Tommy Vest

  • A daughter-in-law: Bobbie Vest

  • A daughter: Regina Vest McKee

  • A son-in-law, Jeff McKee

  • Best friend: Spike

  • Granddaughter in law: Hope Vest

  • Two grandchildren: Larry Derek Vest and Dustun Neal Thomas Vest

  • Two great grandchildren: Bryer Vest and Bridger Vest

  • And brother: Dallas and (Reva) Vest
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Vest.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY in charge of arrangements.
