ACSO arrests couple in meth lab, child endangerment case Couple lodged in Adair County Jail under $100,000 bond. Deputy Joey Burris was assisted in the action by Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss, Deputy Adam Cravens, and Columbia Police Officer Bruce McCloud, and Kentucky State Police Units. Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story The Adair County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) arrested Phillip Pierce, 38, and his wife, Jamie Pierce, 22, on Monday, February 21, 2011, on multiple charges involving an alleged meth lab and alleged endangerment of a child. The arrests came after the sheriffs responded to 121 William Bryant RD (MAP of AREA), Columbia, in the Ozark Community of Adair County, after receiving a complaint about a possible pipe bomb. At the location, Deputy Joey Burris reports finding two bottles containing a white substance which he suspected to be used in the manufacture of methamphetamines. After investigating the home at the location, Deputy Burris arrested Phillip Pierce, 38, and his wife. Jamie Pierce, 22. Phillip Pierce, 38, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st offense, unlawful possession of meth precursor, 1st offense; possession of drug paraphernalia buy possession, 1st offense; and controlled substance endangerment to a child in 4th degree. Jamie Pierce, 22, was charged with possession of controlled substance 2nd degree, 1st offense-amphetamine; unlawful possession of meth precursor 1st offense, drug paraphernalia buy possession 1st offense, and controlled substance endangerment to a child in 4th degree. Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail, Columbia, KY, under $100,000 bonds.Deputy Burris was assisted in the action by Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss, Deputy Adam Cravens, and Columbia Police Officer Bruce McCloud, and Kentucky State Police Units.
