The funeral service is Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 4pmET/3pmCT, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown RD (MAP), Louisville, KY.Visitation after 2pm CT Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, and from 2-8pmET, Friday, February 25, 2011, at Resthaven.

He was born Friday,September 6, 1940, in Jefferson Co, KY. He was the son of the late Paul and Cora Slaughter Branham. He died Monday, February 21, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 15 days.

He was a retired truck driver and was manager of Jeff's Tire in Columbia, KY.

Survivors include the following:
  • His wife : Violet Mason Branham of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: LaDonna Whalen and Andy Botag of Louisville, Lana Jean and Kenny Gardner of Smithfield, KY

  • Two brothers: Carl Allen Branham and Paul Edward Branham both of Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Linda Ann Lanham of Shepherdsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Stephen Allen Barksdale of Crestwood, KY; Joshua Thomas Ohlmann of Smithfield, KY; Candace Hope Barksdale of Buckner, KY; and Amber Dawn Crawford of Crestwood, KY

  • Five great-grandchildren with a sixth great-grandchild expected in April
