Kazimierz "John" Rusek enjoyed being home in Churchill Place, Columbia, KY for his 89th birthday, Sunday, February 20, 2011, after a stay in the hospital.

To celebrate his birthday, his family members and friends who were guests in his home include his godson, Erwin Lepiarczyk of Churchill Place; his friends, Gerhard Lepiarczyk and David Lepiarczyk, both of Louisville, KY; Michael Stearns of Adair County; Jean and Yolande Oostens of Columbia, KY; William McCarol and Brittany Jones, both of Knifley, KY; Cordella Voils of Russell County, and Kathy Krug of Adair County.

John received presents, cards, and telephone calls from friends who expressed warm birthday wishes. Celebration guests enjoyed cake and ice cream.

John's birthday was celebrated with the love, admiration, and respect this fine gentleman deserves. May God bless John always. -E.H. Lepiarczyk
