Lindsey Wilson faculty members hold wired meeting Faculty members from school's 23 campuses get together though many of the 100 full-time members attend through videoconferencing By Duane Bonifer The Lindsey Wilson College faculty held its monthly assembly meeting on Monday afternoon in W.W. Slider Humanities Center Recital Hall. And although a total of 71 faculty members attended the meeting, only 58 were in Adair County; the remaining 13 attended the meeting via videoconferencing. Lindsey Wilson has more than 100 full-time faculty members - more than double the number it had 10 years ago - but because the college has 23 community campuses spread out across Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia, not all of them teach on the college's A.P. White Campus. So when faculty members hold their monthly assembly meeting to discuss and vote on academic policy, many of the faculty members are connected via videoconferencing through the Internet. Monday's Faculty Assembly meeting was an example of how the size of the Lindsey Wilson faculty has not simply grown over the last decade but so has its scope, reach and impact.
