Proud school now faces Adair Veterans Memorial Highway

By Robbie Harmon

I just wanted to write and say how excited we are to see how our county and state have shown honor and respect to the sacrifices of our Veterans with the renaming of the Adair County's bypass.

I think this was a very noble and honorable gesture for the service men and women of Adair County. And for that matter a great show of respect for all of our fine Veterans around the world.

As we look out our front windows here at ACES, we can now know that we are looking at not only a well traveled road but a travel corridor that now has the namesake of the men and women who have given so much to defend our Freedoms.

Thanks again to our county and state officials for the renaming and an enormous thanks goes out to the Veterans that have served in the many capacities over the years.
