Marshall Overstreet age 76 years of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at 7:45amCT at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, KY after several weeks illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 200 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, by Bro. Hugh Withers. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. The family request visitation after 4pmCT on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at the funeral home.



Marshall Overstreet, Adair Co., KY (1934-2011)

He was born Tuesday, September 25, 1934 in Adair Co., KY. He was the son of the late Herbert and Willard Yarberry Overstreet of Adair County, KY. He died Monday, February 14, 2011, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, at the age of 76 years, 4 months, and 20 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Ann Etheridge Oversteet on August 21, 2006.

Survived by the following:
  • One son: Gary Overstreet and wife, Lisa of Mt. Washington, KY

  • One step daughter: Audrey Haynes & husband: Michael of Washington, DC

  • Two grandsons: Zachary and Andrew Overstreet of Mt. Washington, KY

  • Other special family and friends include: Orby and Lucy Yarberry, Bobby and Wanda Beard, Carolyn Sue Burton and family and a host ofother relatives and friends
Mr. Overstreet was a retired clerk from Wall Heating and Cooling in Columbia, KY.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
