Pauline Estes, Casey Co., KY (1916-2011)

She was a homemaker, Postmaster of the Yosemite Post Office and member of the Green River Christian Church

Pauline Estes died Wednesday February 9, 2011, at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY. She was 94.

Funeral services are 2pmET/1pmCT, Friday February 11, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bro. Greg Powell. Burial is in Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 5-9pmET/4-9CT, at the funeral home. Pallbearers are her grandsons.



Pauline Estes, Casey Co., KY (1916-2011)

Pauline Estes was born Friday, May 11, 1916 in the Argyle Community of Casey County, She was the daughter of the late Tommy Coplin and Lydia Wesley Elliott. She is the widow of Aaron Pittman and Garland Estes. She died Wednesday February 9, 2011, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 30 days.

She was homemaker, Postmaster of the Yosemite Post Office and member of the Green River Christian Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Pat and Garnett Pittman of Yosemite, KY, and Sherrill Pittman of Ohio

  • Son-in-law: Dave VanNiman of Ft. Wright, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Five step-grandchildren

  • Fifteen great-grandchildren

  • Four great-great-grandchildren

  • Two isters, Cloma and Fern Murphy both of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents and spouses, she is preceded in death by daughter, Emma Jane VanNiman; son, Paul Gary Pittman; sister, Irene Spears; and three brothers, Oris, Gid, and Clovis Elliott.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville RD, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
