Columbia Womans Club has successful Shop & Drive Proceeds from program go to Bethany House, Somerset, KY Click on headline for story plus photo By Annabelle Burkett Columbia Woman's Club thanks the community for a successful Shop & Share Drive At Kroger Russell Springs on Saturday February 5, 2011. President Blair along with several volunteers opened the Shop & Share event hosted by the Russell Springs, KY Kroger. All proceeds were to benefit The Bethany House in Somerset, KY, which is an organization which assists victims of domestic violence. This is one of various community projects sponsored by the Columbia Woman's Club. We want to thank volunteers, especially two young ladies with a lot of spirit and willingness to give of themselves despite the very cold day, Alyssa Bachman and Natalie Loy. And, of course to all those who donated by way of cash or merchandise. To learn more about the Woman's Club and how you can join, call Anabelle Burkett at (270) 226-9472.
