Don Wesley Brooks, 46, Columbia, KY, formerly of Williamsburg, KY, departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2011, in Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, 103 S. Second ST (MAP), Williamsburg, KY, with Rev. Mike Gray and Rev. Dorman Patrick officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Oakridge Church of God Cemetery in Williamsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 11amET/10amCT, Thursday, February 10, 2011, until the hour of the funeral.



Don Wesley Brooks, Columbia, KY (1965-2011)

Don Wesley Brooks was born in Whitley Co., KY, on Sunday, January 10, 1965. He was the son of the late Dillard Mark Brooks and Velmer Carter Brooks. He died on Saturday, February 5, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY at the age of 46 years and 25 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Natash Renee Brooks Moses and her husband Danny and Blake Brooks and his wife Summer Leann, all of Emlyn, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Dany Moses III, Abigail Moses, and Ayden Dewayne Brooks

  • His mother: Mrs. Velmer Brooks, Williamsburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Russell Brooks and his wife Corine of Williamsburg, KY, and Mark Edward Brooks and his wife Wanda of Corbin, KY

  • Three sisters: Juanita Brooks Hobbs, Williamsburg, KY; Shirley Ann Perry and her husband Steve of Williamsburg, KY; and Bessie Grasham and her husband Bob, Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
