"You win with people and we added some great people to the Blue Raider football family today. "Our coaching staff has worked diligently to identify prospects that fit in with the vision for our program and we are excited about this group of young men who have chosen Lindsey Wilson College." Coach Oliver signed a talented group of players who fit the vision he has set for the program. Included in the group are 22 in-state players from Kentucky, five signees from Tennessee, two from Ohio and one from Indiana. With work left to finalize the class in the coming weeks, Oliver is happy with the student-athletes that committed to Lindsey Wilson. "This initial group of signees gives us a great start to the recruiting class," Oliver said. "We are still working with some talented prospects that are close to making a decision and who have an opportunity to play a large role in the success of this team next fall. The next few weeks will be crucial as we finalize our roster spots for the 2011 squad and move into spring football practice." Not only is Oliver excited about the level of play this class brings to the Blue Raiders, but he also sees a group of high-character student-athletes. "This group is loaded with talent and accolades on the football field, as well as strong character and leadership," Oliver said. "They are also getting it done in the classroom. The average grade-point average for this group is a 3.12." Lindsey Wilson finished 5-6 overall and 4-2 in the Mid-South Conference East Division in its first season of collegiate football in 2010. 2011 Lindsey Wilson College Football Commitments
