He was a member of a respected Cumberland Co., KY family, a farmer and a 27 year employee of Houchens Industries

Aubrey Clayton Young, 73, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 4, 2011, at 2pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main ST, Burkesville, KY, with Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial in the Burkesville Cemetery (MAP).Visitation will be from 3pm-9pmCT, on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Inc. in Burkesville, KY


Aubrey Clayton Young, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2011)

Aubrey Clayton Young was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Sunday, February 27, 1937. He was the son of the late Agnes Young and the late Willie Paul Young. He died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

He was a 27 year employee of Houchens Industries and a farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Son-in-Law, Steve Neathery.He is survived by his wife, Linda Coffey Young, Burkesville, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Greg Young and Wife Arlene of Burkesville, KY

  • One daughter: Marsha Coppage and Husband Gary of Russell Springs, KY

  • One brother: Cecil Young of Burkesville, KY

  • Two sisters: Dorothy Smith and Husband Talbot of Burkesville, KY; and Hazel Prewitt of Indianapolis, IN

  • One granddaughter: Paige Young of Burkesville, KY

  • Three grandsons: Jonathan Neathery of Burkesville, KY; Nathan Neathery and his wife Ashley of Burkesville, KY; and Peyton Young of Burkesville, KY

  • One great grandson: Parker Neathery of Burkesville, KY

  • Two step grandchildren: Leonard Coppage and his wife Karen of Russell Springs, KY; Nick Coppage of Russell Springs, KY
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Inc., Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
