Obituary: Hearl Harrison, 81, Casey Co., KY

He was a drywall hanger, a farmer, and a member of the Gum Lick Christian Church

Hearl Harrison, 81, died Monday January 31, 2011 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Funeral services are at 1pmET/12 noon pm CT, Friday, February 4, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST (MAP), Liberty, KY, by Bro. Dwight Coffman and Bro. Steve Martin. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, February 3, 6pm-9pmET/6pm-8pmCT at the funeral home.



Hearl Harrison, Casey Co., KY (1929-2011)

Born Thursday, October 10, 1929, he was the son of the late Elbridge and Pearl Murphy Harrison. He died Monday, January 31, 2011, in Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at the age of 81 years, 3 months, and 21 days.

He was a drywall hanger, farmer and member of the Gum Lick Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Woodrum Harrison of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Carolyn Brady of Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren, Shawn Monday , Heather Slavey, Lona Woodrum and Chasity Rodgers

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Ada Wright of Liberty, KY; and Faye Cochran of Moreland, KY
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Adrian Harrison and sister, Kathleen Purdy.
McKinney Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
