Driving Alert: Wind advisory in effect in region

The National Weather Service in Louisville, KY has issued this warning, at 5:03amCT/4:03amET:
"Winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected across our region through 8amET/7amCT behind a strong cold front. These winds will hamper travel...Especially for high profile vehicles as well as bring down tree limbs and possibly weakened trees with resultant power outages possible.

"If you are driving...Slow down and keep both hands on the wheel.keep a safe distance between vehicles and from cars in adjacentlanes as strong winds could push your car outside its lane oftravel."
The advisory is for a wide region which includes the 7-County CM primary service area of Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Counties of South Central Kentucky.
