Danville driver injured in collision near Dunnville, KY Danville driver loses control of pickup in curve south of Russell Springs, KY, strikes van driven by Dunnville, KY, driver. Danville driver charged with DUI, failure to maintain required insurance. (MAP of U.S. 127, Approximate area of Crash) By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Russell County, KY - Trooper Kenny Perkins is investigating a two vehicle injury collision which occurred at 1pmCT, Tuesday, February 1, 2011, on US 127, 7 miles north of Russell Springs, KY near the Russell-Casey County line. A 1985 Ford pickup was operated by Bradley Byrd, age 28, of Danville, KY, and was traveling South on US 127. The driver lost control in a curve, travelled into the northbound lane and struck a 1997 Chevrolet Van operated by Jodi Dilsaver, age 36, of Dunnville, KY. Dilsaver and a passenger, Michael Wilson, age 59, of Dunnville were not injured. Bradley Byrd was transported to Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY, by Russell County EMS where he was treated for his injuries. Byrd was charged with DUI and failure to maintain required insurance. Trooper Perkins of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, was assisted at the scene by Russell County EMS and Casey County EMS.
