Huey Lee York, 63, Somerset, KY, died Saturday, January 29, 2011, in Somerset, KY.

The funeral will be Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Donnie Coffey the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 KY 80 (MAP, Nancy, KY. Visitation will be after 9amCT, Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Bernard Funeral Home.



Huey Lee York, Somerset, KY (1947-2011)

Huey Lee York was born Thursday, July 31, 1947, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY. He was the son of Ghree F. Price York and the late John Vertree York. He died Saturday, January 29, 2011, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 29 days.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a lineman/telephone installer.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two children: Melissa Poe, Westchester, OH; and Ty York, Mason, OH

  • Two grandchildren

  • His mother: Ghree York, Nancy, KY

  • One sister: Virginia Scroggins, Auburn, AL
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
