Reader wants photo of gravestone Update Note from "Jim": Reports of SFC Linnell's death may be a bit premature. To the best of my knowledge, his only association with Adair County came in 2006 when he participated in a grave marking and dedicatory ceremony for Revolutionary War veteran William Hurt ).As of a few months ago (August 2010), SFC Linnell was a member of a standing committee in the Gov. Isaac Shelby Chapter, Kentucky Society, Sons of the American Revolution.Jamie Linnellwrites: I am looking for a photo of SFC William H. Linnell Jr.'s gravestone, if you could get that for me. Thanks so much Jamie K. LinnellEditor's note: The above letter was received from Jamie Linnell with a reference to the the Margaret Taylor article posted on CM on October 7, 2006, ] Adair Revolutionary War. Patriot Hurt honored Jamie Linnell does not state whether the gravestone is in the same Hurt Cemetery off Kentucky 704 as in the article or not.
