Jordan Young, Breeding, KY, makes it big in the United Kingdom

Peggy Fudge writes:
Ed, A little news from the UK- Mona Win MTV's Brand New For 2011 Vote!,MTV UK - 7 hours ago: Indie rockers Mona have been voted as winners of BlackBerry Presents MTV's Brand New for 2011, taking the crown from last year's title holder Justin Bieber. So, why do we care about this new band "Mona"? Because one of the guitarists is Jordan Young, son of Jennifer and Seth Hawthorne of Breeding, KY. This band is well on the way to making it Big, and I thought you might want to follow up on it. Thanks. -Peggy Fudge
Thanks, Peggy Fudge for the information. There's more on the alternative rock band, which originated in Dayton, OH and is now located in Nashville, TN, at the Wikipedia entry, Mona (Band) There's also a link to the BBC's Sound of 2011 webpage at Sights and sounds of 2011, Mona which includes videos. And more at this link on MySpace: Mona which itself has links to othe sites with Mona information. -CM
